Market Insurance
The following rules apply from 1st February 2025 (these are a legal requirement for our markets):
Rule 1: All Permanent Stallholders must provide a copy of their $10,000 Public Liability and Product Liability Insurance. If permanent stallholders do not provide a copy of their insurance, they will be deemed as “uninsured” and moved to the “casual area” (Sections G & R). They will lose their permanent site. They will also be unable to apply for a discount on 6-month site bookings.
Rule 2: All Regular Casual Stallholders will need to comply with Rule 1. A regular casual is deemed as a stallholder who books 4 or more sites in a 12-month period.
Rule 3: Casual Stallholders will be allocated into an area of our markets for “casual stallholders” (this will be Sections G & R). These sites will have Public and Product Liability Insurance of $15.00 added to the stallholder's booking.
